The KROHNE OPTIWAVE 1500-series is a family of compact, 80 GHz FMCW radar level transmitters for non-contact continuous level measurement of liquids, slurries, pastes, granulates, powders, and bulk solids. The 1500-series instruments are designed for reliable, maintenance-free operation in a wide range of industries — from water/wastewater, tanks and silos, to chemical, food, and mining plants. With high dynamic range, robust housing, and flexible installation options, they are ideal for applications where contact sensors fail due to dust, condensation, foam, agitation, or challenging environmental conditions.
