Description

General

The new Alerton® BCM-WEB is a cost effective Web server that automatically reads building automation system (BAS) data from Alerton’s BACtalk® system and translates the data to Web pages. The BCM-WEB supports up to 130 devices and three concurrent users. It maintains alarm history information, trendlog data and user activity, and supports archiving historical data and emailing alarms. The BCM-WEB is scalable and

compatible with existing BACtalk systems, and is an economic alternative to WEBtalk for small to medium sized buildings.

Use Envision for BACtalk v2.5 to configure the BCM-WEB, which, once installed, operates without an Envision for BACtalk server. Users can create and edit up to 150 schedules, 150 alarms and 150 trendlogs. A “bread-crumb” feature enables users to keep track of their location and a new menu structure simplifies navigation.

The typical BCM-WEB configuration includes the BCM-PWS, BCM-ETH and the BCM-WEB. For further expansion and connection to an external BACnet network, add any global controller, including third-party devices.

DIN-rail mounting and a ribbon-cable connection to other BCMs also simplify expansion. You can quickly and easily add a network or integration option, which gives you unprecedented flexibility to adapt quickly as your connectivity, integration, processing, and control requirements change.
