Description
The Pro'sKit TE-6201G-W Fiber Optic Fusion Splicer is designed for accurate and efficient optical-fiber splicing in telecommunications, network installation, fiber maintenance, and field-service applications. The system provides Core-Core alignment and supports automatic, manual, and fully automatic focusing/operation functions.
The TE-6201G-W supports single-mode (SM), multimode (MM), non-zero dispersion shifted (NZDS), and erbium-doped fiber (EDF). Its specified average splice losses are 0.02 dB for SM, 0.01 dB for MM, and 0.04 dB for both NZDS and EDF fiber, with return loss rated at ≥60 dB.
For faster field work, the splicer completes a typical SM fiber splice in approximately 6 seconds, while the average protection-sleeve heating time is approximately 15 seconds. The integrated heater accommodates 20 mm, 40 mm, and 60 mm heat-shrink protection sleeves.
A 4.3-inch high-resolution color LCD provides clear fiber viewing. The system offers up to 520× magnification for individual X or Y axis viewing, while the manufacturer's specifications also state 200× magnification for simultaneous X/Y viewing. Up to 6000 splice results can be stored, and the Micro USB interface supports result transfer and updates.
