The Rosemount 248 (248HANAN0Q4) is a head-mount temperature transmitter designed for dependable temperature measurement in industrial process applications. It accepts a range of temperature sensor inputs, including RTDs, thermocouples, resistance and millivolt signals, and converts the measured value into a 4–20 mA analogue output with HART digital communication.

This configuration features a DIN B head-mount design, no enclosure and no hazardous-area certification. It also includes a Q4 three-point calibration certificate, providing documented calibration at 0%, 50% and 100% of the output range. The compact transmitter is suitable for installation inside compatible temperature connection heads.
