The Banner Engineering SLM20P6Q is a rugged metal slot sensor designed for reliable object detection in industrial automation applications. It uses an opposed-mode sensing arrangement, with the emitter and receiver integrated into a single U-shaped housing. This design eliminates the need for separate emitter and receiver alignment, making installation straightforward.

Featuring a 20 mm slot width, visible red sensing beam and PNP output, the SLM20P6Q detects objects passing through its sensing slot. Its nickel-plated die-cast zinc housing and IP67 protection make it suitable for demanding industrial environments. The sensor also includes adjustable sensitivity and selectable Light Operate and Dark Operate modes.
