The Banner Engineering SLM30P6Q is a rugged metal slot sensor designed for reliable object detection in industrial automation systems. It features an opposed-mode sensing arrangement, with the emitter and receiver integrated into a single U-shaped housing. This self-contained design eliminates the need for separate emitter and receiver alignment, simplifying installation.

With a 30 mm slot width and PNP output, the SLM30P6Q detects objects passing through its sensing slot. It operates on a 10–30 V DC supply and features a 3-pin M8 integral quick-disconnect connector.
