The Banner Engineering SLM80P6Q is a rugged metal slot sensor designed for reliable object detection in industrial automation applications. It features an integrated opposed-mode emitter and receiver within a single U-shaped housing, eliminating the need for separate emitter and receiver alignment.

With an 80 mm slot width and PNP transistor output, the SLM80P6Q detects objects passing through its sensing slot. It operates on a 10–30 V DC supply and features an integral 3-pin M8 quick-disconnect connector. Its nickel-plated die-cast zinc housing and IP67 protection make it suitable for demanding industrial environments. Adjustable sensitivity and selectable Light Operate/Dark Operate modes provide flexibility for different sensing applications.
