Description
General
The Banner Engineering M18TB14 is a non-contact infrared temperature sensor designed for industrial temperature monitoring and detection applications. It measures surface temperatures without physical contact, making it suitable for monitoring moving products, hot components and temperature-sensitive processes.
The sensor features a Germanium lens with a 14:1 distance-to-spot ratio and a temperature measuring range of 0–300°C. It detects temperature differences as small as 3°C and provides one NPN and one PNP switching output for integration with industrial control systems.
With adjustable temperature thresholds, remote or push-button Teach programming and a compact M18 cylindrical housing, the M18TB14 is suitable for applications such as hot-part detection, roller temperature monitoring, moulded-part ejection verification and industrial process monitoring.
