Description
General
The Banner Engineering M18TIP8 is a non-contact infrared temperature sensor designed for accurate industrial temperature measurement and process monitoring. It uses infrared sensing technology to measure the surface temperature of objects without physical contact, making it suitable for applications where conventional contact temperature sensors are impractical.
Featuring an 8:1 distance-to-spot ratio and an integrated optical lens, the M18TIP8 measures temperatures within a range of 0°C to 300°C. Its 4–20 mA analog output provides a continuous temperature signal for connection to PLCs, controllers, and industrial monitoring systems.
The sensor also incorporates a PNP alarm output, configurable measuring range through Teach programming, and a robust M18 stainless-steel housing. Supplied with a 2-metre cable, it is suitable for industrial automation, machinery monitoring, manufacturing processes, and temperature control applications.
