Description
General
The Banner Engineering M18TIP8Q is a non-contact infrared temperature sensor designed for industrial temperature measurement and process monitoring. It measures the surface temperature of objects without physical contact, making it suitable for applications where conventional contact sensors are difficult to install or use.
Featuring an 8:1 distance-to-spot ratio and an integrated optical lens, the M18TIP8Q provides temperature measurement with a continuous 4–20 mA analog output. It also incorporates a PNP alarm output, allowing temperature-related signals to be integrated into industrial control and monitoring systems.
The sensor features an M18 stainless-steel housing and a 5-pin M12 quick-disconnect connector for convenient installation and maintenance. Push-button and remote Teach adjustment options provide flexibility when configuring the sensor for different measurement requirements.
