Description
General
The Banner Engineering M18TUP6E is a non-contact infrared temperature sensor designed for industrial temperature measurement and process monitoring. It detects thermal radiation emitted by objects and measures their surface temperature without physical contact, making it suitable for applications where conventional contact temperature sensors are difficult to use.
Featuring a 6:1 distance-to-spot ratio and an enclosed plastic Fresnel sensing face, the M18TUP6E measures temperatures from 0°C to 300°C. Its 0–10 V DC analog output provides a continuous temperature signal for integration with PLCs, controllers and industrial automation systems.
The sensor also incorporates a PNP alarm output, adjustable measuring range through Teach programming, and a stainless-steel M18 housing. Its 2-metre cable, IP67 protection and NEMA 4X rating make it suitable for industrial environments, including applications requiring an enclosed sensing face.
