Description
General
The Banner Engineering M18TUP6EQ is a non-contact infrared temperature sensor designed for industrial temperature measurement and process monitoring. It detects infrared energy emitted by objects and measures their surface temperature without physical contact, making it suitable for monitoring moving or stationary products.
Featuring a 6:1 distance-to-spot ratio and an enclosed plastic Fresnel sensing face, the M18TUP6EQ measures temperatures from 0°C to 300°C. Its 0–10 V DC analog output provides a continuous temperature signal for integration with PLCs, controllers and industrial automation systems.
The sensor also incorporates a PNP alarm output and supports push-button and remote Teach programming. Its M18 stainless-steel housing and 5-pin M12 quick-disconnect connector provide a practical solution for industrial installations, including applications requiring an enclosed sensing face.
