Description
General
The Banner Engineering M18TUP8 is a non-contact infrared temperature sensor designed for industrial temperature measurement and process monitoring. It detects infrared energy emitted by objects to measure their surface temperature without physical contact, making it suitable for monitoring moving or stationary products.
Featuring an 8:1 distance-to-spot ratio and an integrated optical lens, the M18TUP8 measures temperatures from 0°C to 300°C. Its 0–10 V DC analog output provides a continuous temperature signal for integration with PLCs, controllers and industrial automation systems.
The sensor also features a PNP alarm output and supports push-button and remote Teach programming. Its M18 threaded housing and 2-metre cable connection make it suitable for industrial installations, including hot-part detection, roller temperature monitoring and process verification.
