Description
General
The Banner Engineering M18TUP8Q is a non-contact infrared temperature sensor designed for industrial temperature measurement and process monitoring. It uses infrared thermopile technology to measure the surface temperature of objects without physical contact, making it suitable for monitoring both moving and stationary products.
Featuring an 8:1 distance-to-spot ratio and an integrated optical lens, the M18TUP8Q measures temperatures within the 0°C to 300°C application range. Its 0–10 V DC analog output provides continuous temperature information for integration with PLCs, controllers and industrial automation systems.
The sensor also incorporates a PNP alarm output and supports push-button and remote Teach programming. Its stainless-steel M18 housing and 5-pin M12 quick-disconnect connection provide convenient installation and maintenance in industrial environments.
